I was surprised today because I got another award from a very dear blogger Oanh Le!

She's really a sweetheart for always reading and leaving a comment on some of my posts. I really appreciate this nomination because I've only began blogging a week ago and the warm welcome and awesome awards I'm receiving from all of you are so overwhelming.

Kind of an awesome award, right? I am just so humbled to see that this award is given to bloggers who positively and creatively inspire others! :) This made my day!

1.What would you most like to change about yourself? 
--  Hmm, tough one! I have so many imperfections that I would love to change but probably my "laziness" is the one thing I would most likely want to change. 

2. What is your theme song? 

--  I don't really have that one particular theme song but I am currently addicted to "Tied Together with a Smile" by Taylor Swift. 

3.One part of your life memory, action, etc. that you wish you could surgically remove from your brain?

--  Surgically remove? Wow, is there a thing like that? Anyway, I don't want any alteration on my memories. I am who I am because of everything I've been through. I know it may sound cliche but it's true! I believe everything happens for a reason and I love my "present" life. I literally could not wish for more. :)

4. What generation do you wish you had been apart of? 

--  I love my own but if I could experience living during Shakespeare's time, I would be the happiest kid ever!  I'm a very romantic person and I just love wearing their clothes on a daily basis and learning how to speak Old English is just lovely.

5. What was your favorite childhood toy?

--  I believe I don't have a favorite toy because I love playing with our dogs more than playing with my toys. :)

6.What's your favorite housecleaning chore? 

--  Mopping the floor! Haha! It's really weird but I do it all the time even if I just did it a few minutes ago.

7. Do you Tweet? 

--  Yes, it's connected to my Instagram.

8. Any goals? 

--  Right now, I just wanna have a job that suits my skills. 

9. Do you really drink margaritas all the time? 

-- Believe it or not, I'm sober since birth. 

10. What is the ugliest car you've ever driven and were embarrassed to be seen in? 

-- I only drive our family car, and for me, it's not that bad. I love driving but if I can have my own car I would definitely have the newest Volkswagen (yellow) or a Mini Cooper or that yellow Porsche race car! *wishful thinking*

Too School for Cool

I love wearing school uniforms! Probably because of the pleated skirts and girly bows. Ever since I graduated, I miss wearing my old uniform. This outfit is inspired by that thought, so I went for the "school girl" look.

I got my white long sleeved sheer top with collars at a thrift store. It's actually still in good condition and got it in a very cheap price, only P50.00 (or almost 2USD). I paired it with a sheer polka dot navy blue pleated skirt I bought from Forever 21. I just love how the details of my top match my skirt.

I'm more of a "flats" person than heels. One of my absolute favorites is this yellow doll shoes with cute little bows. This one I got from a bazaar again, talk about awesome cheap finds.

Chic Friday!

So when I started my blog, besides putting up my outfits here I was thinking of giving awards and feature other blogs that I love as well. Today is the very first "Chic Friday" post! Every friday I will look for my fave chic look of the day from one of my dear followers. And today's chic look is from my very first follower, Seoul & Pfassion.

I just loved this effortlessly chic, casual look!

 Her sheer, skull printed top with very cute low collar is just irresistably gorgeous! Paired with this brown loose shorts with a woven belt made this look more unique. Lastly, don't you just love her heels? It looks very classy and and comfy too!

Registered Nurse

Sorry if this post will not be about fashion. This post will be about me and the happiest day of my life!

Last June 30 and July 1, I had the most important examination of my life, the Philippine Nursing Licensure Exam PNLE. It's the board exam for nursing graduates. Every graduate has to pass the said exam before we can actually work as nurses.

36 working days after our exam, the results are finally out! It was unexpectedsince there really was no exact date as to when the results will be released. I was browsing and reading other blogs when I got a text message from one of my college bestfriends saying "Congrats Pepsi, 100% tayo!", it means everyone from our college who took the exam, passed! Our whole batch, every one from my class, every one I know passed the exam as well! I was shocked and my hands were literally shaking when I was trying to text back. All I can ever think of at that time was "Thank you Lord!" over and over again. Nothing will ever beat that feeling! Indeed, this is the happiest day of my life so far! All my hard work for four years finally paid off! Plus, not one of our batchmates failed, so we're all very thankful and happy that no one got left behind.

This is the list of the Top Ten performing schools in the PNLE and I am very proud that my school, Chinese General Hospital College of Nursing and Liberal Arts, was on top of the list with a 100% passing rate!

Now this is the list of the Topnotchers of the exam, I may not be on the list but I'm very proud that my friends are! They're one of the 6th and 7th topnotchers!

Our batch, called the Supremo Leons are all Registered Nurses now. We truly have made our mark! I could not ask for more than this. I am beyond thankful!

1. I'm a proud Filipino. Born and raised in the happiest place you'll ever be, the Philippines. As obvious as it looks, I'm really nationalistic and I love my home so much!
2. I do believe that I'm a 17 year old girl stucked in a 20 year old body. Yes, I can be immature, hot headed and stubborn sometimes. Haha!

8. I'm a dog lover! I have two big dogs and one little pup named "Yuki" and I love all of em so much! I treat them as my babies.

1. Why Blogging?

  -- There are a lot of reasons why I blog but mainly because I want to be heard. 

2.What do you like most in blogging?

   -- Reading comments by my followers. It's really heart warming to see that someone miles away from me is listening to what I'm saying. It means a lot!

3. What is your favorite quote?

   -- Probably my favorite quote is "Hakuna Matata". It's from a disney film, which means "No worries for the rest of your day." I always try to find ways not to get stressed too much.

4.  Dream Career?

  -- Growing up, I've always wanted to be in the Medical Field, a doctor to be exact. And to be more specific, a Pediatrician. I just love little kids!

5. Why did you start your blog?

  -- I used to have a more personal blog but then I got addicted to Chictopia and I wasn't able to update my old blog anymore. So I thought why not make a fashion blog where I can link my Chictopia to and so I did.

6. What are your favourite posts to read?

  -- Tutorials! Mostly about fashion, hair and make up. 

7.Favourite clothing brand/ Shop?

  -- I really don't have a particular favorite brand or shop. I shop almost everywhere! I'm not really after the brand, I'm more into the "how beautiful" the piece is.

  -- Well, my favorite TV series that are related to fashion are "Gossip Girl", "Laguna Beach", and "Keeping Up with the Kardashians".  Other series I love are "One Tree Hill", "House" and "The Walking Dead".

  -- Obviously, I'm way more girly. I love skirts and dresses! Anything with florals, bows, and collars are my kryptonite.

Daddy's Girl

Every tuesday, me and my dad go out for a mini date. We watch a movie together and this was my outfit that day. 

Someone asked me once why I always take pictures at home, and I thought I'll just share my answer to you guys as well. I usually take pictures the night before I wear them out for two main reasons: 1.) I wanna see how it looks on me. 2.) I really don't have time to take pictures of my outfit when I'm already out with someone. (expcept when I'm with my boyfriend because he sometimes takes pictures of me) I just don't wanna waste time I could spend with whoever I am with and so I take pictures in advance.

About my look, my heather gray sleeveless top is from a store in Singapore again. It's actually a cropped top but you can't see it because I wore a high waisted violet lace skirt. 

I added some black ensembles too which i think made this look more chic!  My black beaded necklace and owl ring were hand-me-downs from my older sister. The wing ring and heart connector ring is from an online store here in the Philippines. And the black woven leather personalized charm bracelet is from a bazaar.

Lastly, I decided to finish the look with these cute gladiator sandals that match the color of my top.

But before I end this post, I would just like to share with you that I've achieved one of the things on my "Wish list" and that is to "Reach 50 followers" last night. I'm really thankful for all my new sweet followers! I had this idea running on my mind over and over last night and so I'm doing it today.

Owl always love you!

Ever since I got addicted to Tumblr and We heart it, I started to have an obsession with owls! I collect items from clothings, accessories, ballpens, notebooks etc. I think they're just sooo adorable! I love their cute big eyes the most! 

Here's one of my favorite owl tops I got from when I was back in Singapore for a vacation. It was from a bazaar so I got it at a really cheap price! Talk about great finds, huh! :)

It's a long sleeved blouse. The owls are actually handmade with sparkly sequins! If you look closer, you can actually see it shining on my face. Haha!

 I paired this top with a pleated skirt that has heart shaped leopard prints. I got this skirt from Pop Culture, a store here in the Philippines. I got it on sale so it's another cheap find! I don't really buy expensive clothes because I always find things similar to what I want with a lot more cheaper price. 

I just love satchel bags! I think you can pair them with any kind of look you're trying to achieve. I bought this brown leather satchel bag years ago from a bazaar again here in the Philippines. It's really durable and easy to clean unlike my other bags. It's a cute backpack that I used to bring with me when I was still studying.

For my accessories, I chose a white star connector ring and a bronze heart shaped key ring. These cute connector rings were bought from an online store of a friend.

Mint Bubble Gum

Hi guys! I would like to share this look of mine a month ago. I was going out with my best friends that day. It was a bit hot and sunny outside so I decided to wear something really comfortable and breezy.

I love this pastel pink top I got from a store called "Pop Culture" at Trinoma (I'm from the Philippines btw). What really made me love this is its peter pan lace collar with heart buttons and the lace details. Since my top already has a lot going on with it, I decided not to wear a necklace anymore to draw the attention to it's design. I paired this bubble gum top with a very cute sheer pastel blue pleated skirt. And I just love how the colors matched beautifully. Don't you think? I also added an animal printed ribbon belt. 

For my bag, I chose this burnt orange satchel I got. I'm really into satchels right now, I got inspired by my older sister who also loves them. 

I really think it looked so girly and feminine altogether. Plus, I you just love pastels and color blocking! I would love to know what you think about this look too so hit that comment button. Ya? :)

Oh hello there, love!

Welcome to my first fashion blog ever! I have been blogging since I was in middle school about my personal life but I just recently got addicted again to fashion blogging and had this crazy ideas I would love to put up if I have a fashion blog. So after weeks of thinking about it, I finally created one!

What will you, my future readers, be expectecting on my blog? 
There are a couple of things I would love to do here and I made a short list (temporary) on what to expect here:
1. I will be posting my "ootd"s that I normally just post in my Chictopia account here: starsandstitches
2. Every friday, I will choose a blog (of one of my followers) to be featured here. You can always comment on my posts if you want your blog to be featured.
3.  Tutorials! As much as I love reading about fashion tutorials, I would also love to share them to you.

That's probably what, mostly, my blog would be about.
